Introduction to the NZXT Hale90 750W Power Supply
Many of us know exactly what we need when it comes to powering our gaming rigs, overclocking bench or graphic workstations. If we don’t then perhaps we should have someone else building this rig, because there is more to a power supply than wattage and amperes. There are all the important behind-the-scenes features like protection against over and under volting (OVP and UVP), overcurrent/overpower (OCP/OPP), short-circuit (SCP), or over temperature (OTP). Also, many of us are cosmetically conscience so the power supplies must match what we are working with, like the case, motherboard and even memory. Look around at many of the forum galleries and you will see tons of carefully planned out, color coordinated rigs. All of these features are a must have for many of us.
If this is you and perhaps your new build includes some white in the color scheme, then our next power supply overview is just for you. The HALE90 power supply is a 750 watt power supply with a single 12V rail that isn't split into any virtual-rails. Being an all white unit it is quite beautiful to look and at the same time providing you with all one needs in the form of electrical protection.
