I am really in love with these modules visually. I love the fact that OCZ did not have to resort to tall heat spreaders to obtain good cooling. And the lower height eliminates any issues with fitting larger than normal coolers on your processor.

The solid black aluminum heat spreaders helps to keep the memory running at 6-6-6-24 which is some of the best timings for DDR3 on the market at 1.65 volts. The 1.65 volts are well within Intel specifications for the Core i7 processors and the X58 North Bridge. And if for any reasons you have any issues with the ram, you get an OCZ lifetime warranty on the Blades.

And if for any reasons you forget what your specifications are, a P/N stickers is pasted on one side of the modules. In our case we have the Blade series: OCZ3B1600LV6GK. Centered on the same side of the modules is the OCZ logo which we are really familiar with. The reverse side doesn't have much really going on. But there are two screws that are used to hold the two piece heat spreaders securely together.

We all know OCZ as the company that never stops. It seems like every day I am receving some kind of press release from them. Just recently there was a P.R. notice to introduce a new line of ram kits under ...
Qimonda was nice enough a few months ago to let us play around with a set of XTune DDR3 PC-1333MHz. They were not too bad of a kit and did pretty well in our round of tests. As things progress and ...
