Conclusion
We definitely love the Coolmax PS228 around the lab. It was ideal for doing quick tests on incoming power supplies. Getting a visual readout on the different voltage rails rather than some green lights indicating if a power is in good working order is great. No more guessing if the rails are within specs. The LCD display is also very easy to read to the point no real tech knowledge is necessary. For under $20, the usefulness goes way beyond monetary value.
