Introduction to the Vantec ezShare Pro
There are many ways to distribute data from one computer to another. With the market flooded with flash drives, this is the most common way to accomplish such a task. If you know how to setup networks and are willing to deal with Microsoft's file and print sharing feature, then a crossover cable may be in order. Yet, Vantec has much simpler way to do it. A crossover USB cable called the ezShare Pro. The ezShare Pro requires no software or knowledge of networks in order to get data from one system to another including MAC to PC.

Packaging and contents
I am not a big fan of blister packs, but this is probably to best way to package the ezShare Pro as people can see just what it consists of and see how simple it would be to use. Between the front and the back of the packaging, you get all the necessary information needed in order to make a purchase. Opening the packaging, I was waiting for a CD to drop out of the sleeve, but none did. The ezShare requires no software at all.

Vantec offers another ezShare product that is just a go-between for two computers. The newer Pro version is better as it has a built-in three port hub. The Pro is all white and comes in two parts. There is the main piece with a short USB cable and a crossover box. The box consists of a USB hub that supports small USB devices like flash drives. If you intend to use devices like enclosure hard drives or other high powered USB devices, then there is a place to connect a 5v power adapter. At the end of the crossover box is a mini-USB port used for the second piece of the device which is a longer cable that connects to the second computer.
