Packaging and contents

A company would have problems selling a mouse without a window to showcase it in the retail packaging. You have to give the consumer the ability to get a feel for the mouse without opening the box. Gigabyte did a good job with the Ghost in this regard. The front has a large enough window to allow a person to get their mitts on the top of the mouse. The back has some basic features of the Ghost listed and folds out to give great details about the mouse.

The GM-M8000 does not come with a lot of accessories. What mouse does? Included is a pretty thick instruction guide that goes through every aspect of the mouse. More importantly there are weights you can add to the mouse to better fit your needs and comforts. A total of 38 grams are included: three 6 grams and one 20 gram weight. This is great for a person who likes to have a mouse with more heft.
