So recently I built an AMD a10 5800k setup and was wondering about hybrid crossfire, I wanted mainly to run this on my 40inch tv. So if anyone can please school me.

uhhh.. that's something I am not really confident as well. But I heard it is applicable to specific gpus only. I dunno if this is right but I only know that AMD Radeon HD 6670 can activate the hybrid crossfire. Elsewhere and it would be like running one discrete graphics.

the 6670 is the only card you can use to crossfire with your CPU
Here is a little review about your CPU and crossfire http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/cpu/46...cs-evaluation/ Looks like it performs worse with the 6670 crossfired better to just run the card by itself Last edited by James86; 01-26-2013 at 03:52 PM. |

hmm, well I don't mind running the onboard. I just wondered if it made a noticeable difference with a hybrid setup. I'll look more into it after I buy another SSD. Sata2 SSD sucks compared to my Sata3 ones. Well thank you for the input, if anyone else has anything else to add in please do, I'm just trying to soak all the information about it.

hybrid crossfire users claim it has a near HD 7850 performance...
that sounds good to me for that kind of build. |
