Private messages from bots?

Just thought I'd say that I've been getting junk messages on the forum from bots. I only got 2 of them with links to random sites, but it seems that even though the forum requires manual activation, the bots can still advertise using PM system. I don't really have a solution to this or anything like that, since regular users need access to the PM system to get activated, but I thought I'd let you know.

Yeah I keep getting those same random messages. Most are not even English.

anyway, just don't click any link.. it can lead you to sites with malware and viruses of all sorts..

I just did a ban on about 1000 bots. Hope it helps.

You guys must be lucky because I don't believe I've gotten one, ever :lol:

When we can afford it maybe an VB upgrade is in order.

Me too Got the some special charcter PM with Some russian site URL yesterday.

I just found two spam messages in my folder and deleted them! I tought I won something here! LOL.
Don't know wich language.....even Google Translate couldn't understand them! Are we contacted by martians? lol lol
