Default Gigabyte rolls out a 'green' GeForce 9600 GT - 06-22-2009, 06:42 AM

Quote:
Taiwanese manufacturer Gigabyte has updated its graphics card line-up with a not so new, but energy efficient GeForce 9600 GT. The GV-N96TGR-512I makes use of a single-slot active cooler, has a nice blue PCB, and features a 55nm G94 GPU clocked at 600 MHz, 64 Stream Processors set to 1500 MHz and 512MB of GDDR3 memory @ 1800 MHz.

Given its 'greenness' the card lacks the 6-pin power connector but it does boast a 256-bit memory interface, has DirectX 10 and 2-way SLI support, DVI, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, and costs about $114.
