Assembling
When it came down to putting the LM200 together, it was quite simple event even with the out of the norm way of installing the drives. The first thing you must do is remove the metal plate that sits atop the case underneath the top side panel. After you do this, you have full access to the inside.
We started the process by installing the power supply. Doing this is no different than installing a PSU in any other case.
After this, we simply mounted the motherboard, but you must install the stand-offs first as they are not pre-mounted. Next, we connected all the cabling needed to the motherboard. The instruction booklet tells you exactly where all the extra cables go.
Last, we mounted the drives to the metal plate. This is done by turning your drives on their backs and aligning the holes on the metal plate with those of the drives. Once mounted all that is needed is the reinsertion of the plate back in the case. The bar can support two 3.5" and one 5.25" drives.
Now we have a fully installed system ready to run. Well, after we do some cable management.
We won't go into detail about the software that accompanies case as that is a topic for another day, but we did get the information from the VFD, every aspect of the system from CPU type to music playing.
